ABOUT

Nicole Vanden Broeck is a French-Mexican filmmaker born and raised in Mexico. She received the FONCA-CONACYT Scholarship to study an MFA in Directing at the AFI Conservatory. After graduating, she was selected as a BAFTA Newcomer talent. Her directorial work has screened at over 60 film festivals including AFI Fest, Rhode Island IFF, Curtas Vila do Conde IFF, Guanajuato IFF, Women in Film & TV, among others.

Before moving to L.A., Nicole co-founded the production company 6pm Films where she directed narrative, documentary and branded content. As a commercial director, she has collaborated with Mattel, Vans, Duracell, Proplan, Nestlé, etc. Currently, she teaches Filmmaking at the Universidad Iberoamericana and develops her narrative feature script debut with the support of Cine Qua Non Lab, among other long and short form projects.
